Randy Lake Named President of Harrisburg-Based Pennsy Supply
New president to head Oldcastle Materials’ Mid-Atlantic Group
HARRISBURG, Pa. (February 16, 2005) -
Randy G. Lake was recently named president of Oldcastle Materials’ Mid-Atlantic Group, comprised of Harrisburg-based Pennsy Supply, West Hazelton-based Slusser Brothers and Tilcon-Delaware, based in Dover, Delaware. The Mid-Atlantic Group of companies, serving Pennsylvania, Delaware and parts of Maryland, is the leading supplier of aggregate and construction materials, consistently providing new and innovative ways to offer superior products to the building industry.

Lake brings more than 15 years of leadership, marketing and operational experience in the building industry. As president, he will be responsible for the strategic growth and operation of the entire Mid-Atlantic Group, which together accounts for $240 million in annual revenue, employs more than 1,000 employees, and operates 10 aggregate quarries, four sand-and-gravel pits, six ready-mix concrete plants, 13 asphalt plants and four rail stone depots across Pennsylvania, Delaware and parts of Maryland.
Lake began his career in the Oldcastle family of companies in 1995 as general manager of Balcon Inc., a paving stone and retaining wall manufacturing facility. His career at Oldcastle has included stintsas president of Oldcastle’s Belgard Hardscapes Program, president of the Oldcastle Retail Division andgeneral manager of Pennsy Supply’s Millard Quarry. For the past two years, Lake served as vice president of customer support for the Mid-Atlantic Group.
He earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration and business education from Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind., and a master of business administration degree from Marymount University in Falls Church, Va.
