Pennsy Supply Mixer Trucks Sporting a ‘Charitable’ New Look
Pennsy offering free advertising on mixer trucks to create community awareness for charities

Harrisburg, Pa. (June 6, 2007) -

Pennsy Supply began providing free advertising for local charity and community organizations on its cement mixer trucks last October, beginning with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region. Thanks to the positive feedback the trucks have received from area residents and businesses, Pennsy expanded the program this spring and currently has 11 trucks advertising seven separate charities including the Keystone Area Boy Scouts, the Susquehanna River Rescue, the Bethesda Mission, Breast Cancer Awareness, RockMan, the Multiple Sclerosis Society and of course Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The trucks can be seen as they travel throughout central Pennsylvania to Pennsy’s 13 facilities, and to and from job sites.  In addition to the free publicity, Pennsy has covered all costs to develop the decals and taglines that currently appear on all 11 trucks. This is just one example of how Pennsy is committed to making a difference in the communities it serves.

“Pennsy people have a strong sense of community pride and are always seeking ways to help enhance our community. Our partnership with these numerous charities allows us to give back to the community by creating awareness of vital organizations that pass on knowledge and leadership skills to the next generation, raise awareness and funding for public health issues, and make our communities better places to live,” said Brian Groff, director of customer support, Pennsy Supply.

Pennsy is dedicated to supporting the communities it serves through charitable donations and sponsorships, and Pennsy’s 500+ employees actively support more than 21 organizations through volunteer efforts.
